An Amazing Book For A Freakin Dollar....
Come Follow Me by Gyo Fujikawa (Used, New, Out-of-Print) - Alibris
A collection of poems interspersed with stories about fairies, elves, gnomes, and other magical creatures.

A Wrinkle In Time

old school
The book begins with the line "It was a dark and stormy night," an allusion to the opening words in Edward George Bulwer-Lytton's 1830 novel Paul Clifford.

The Illuminatus Trilogy

trippy ass book
Comprised of three stories: The Eye in the Pyramid, The Golden Apple, and Leviathan, the book unfolds with the history of time as its backdrop and the figures of history among its characters. The institutions we have come to depend on, from the government and the military to the churches and even the terrorist factions, are not what they seem, and neither are the events of history. There is a greater power at work, one which has continued to shape the landscape of time and society—one which is called the Illuminati.

Marc Tessier and Alexandre Lafleur Graphic Novels

Fell in love with these novels instantly!

Tessier and Lafleur's debut graphic novel collects four striking stories each prefaced with an original Tarot card illustration.

"The Sleeping Heart," "The Theatre of Cruelty," "The Lovers," and "To Chandra from Surya" filter autobiographical fragments through the dream world, plumbing the depths of the psyche, mining the mythology of our collective unconscious.

Psychonaut's Guide To The Invisible Landscape

Definitely one of my favorites
A bold cartography of the inner landscape visible only to those experiencing altered states• Presents the psychedelic experience as an objective landscape that embodies the Other, rather than a subjective state of mind• Provides corroboration of phenomena encountered by those who venture into this domainJourneying into the invisible world revealed by his use of the dissociative psychedelic DXM (dextromethorphan), Dan Carpenter found that what he experienced was not simply subjective sensations and psychological states but an objective world of familiar, if inordinately odd, landmarks and characters. The running diary he kept of these voyages recounts impressions of a landscape charted by other travelers into this Inner Space and includes descriptions of many of the same phenomena recorded by such mind travelers as Terence and Dennis McKenna, Alexander and Ann Shulgin, and others who have experienced the hive mind--the pool of all consciousness.

Led Zepplin

In this wickedly entertaining and thoroughly informed homage to one of rock music’s towering pinnacles, Erik Davis investigates the magic—black or otherwise—that surrounds this album. Carefully peeling the layers from each song, Davis reveals their dark and often mystical roots—and leaves the reader to decide whether  is some form of occult induction or just an inspired, brilliantly played rock album.

Tolstoy is my Cat: A Preface to November's Short Story: "I'm going to use this post today to preface next month's short story, which is called 'Saturday Afternoon, Odessa'. I don't want to give too..."

Victor Moscoso
